What is a Culvert?
A culvert is a structure that allows water to flow under a road, railroad, trail, or other obstruction. Think of it as a small tunnel designed to carry water from one side to the other.
Drainage—preventing flooding, erosion, and damage to infrastructure.
-
Many buyers prefer plastic/HDPE culverts because they are lightweight, durable, corrosion-resistant, and easier to transport/install than concrete or steel.
-
For many drainage, storm-water, farm/ranch, or rural-driveway needs plastic culverts meet hydraulic and structural requirements.
-
For private property owners, contractors, and farms, plastic culverts are often more cost-effective and practical than heavier materials.
